The Student Computing Initiative is exclusively for Students & University/College Staff. You must be a post secondary school student currently enrolled in a recognised course or a about to take up a place on a new course, or be a staff member in a post secondary educational establishment.
I haven’t yet confirmed my place at University/College
You can still take advantage of SCI if you haven’t yet confirmed or taken up you place at university or college, provided that you were in post secondary education (for example doing your A Levels) and are you are intending to take up a further course at University or College. You don’t have to wait until your University or College place is confirmed.
I want to purchase a PC on behalf of a Student
If you are a parent, friend or relative and you wish to purchase a PC on behalf of a student, you can do so provided you know that the student concerned would qualify under the above terms.
